Energy Storage in Hostile Environments

Our own solar-powered design. It saves fuel for the operator, and reducing pollution to the environment. It has been abused in the dunes, left to be baked under the sun – and it still works.

Facilities Consulting

Having worked in the scorching heat of the Emirates, our forté became refrigeration and air conditioning. We specialise in resolving complicated problems where others have given up or proposed inadequate solutions. Here is an air conditioner that other services deemed working, but we found to be running low on refrigerant. These are the subtle things we pay attention to, which can make all the difference.

AI and Robotics

We developed a neural network-based solution that predicts faults in our systems before they occur. It turned out that they work better than just relying on statistics, and we are rolling out this early warning system in all our designs. Simply put, we created a ‘check engine light’ for environmental controls. We use it in our own workplace – talk about taking the taste of your own medicine. The gripper attached to the robotic arm in the picture uses our own software.

Facilities consulting

While we do not offer technical services, we are qualified and licenced to create facilities reports.

The reports we create over two days are impartial, and can be used to ojectively assess maintenance quality or suggestions for improvement.

While our main focus is refrigeration and air conditioning, we put serious emphasis on electrical and fire safety as well.

For every report, we take our own measurements and collect our own data. We create an annotation on the floor plan for every issue we find, which is followed by a photograph that also includes the time, date and geolocation. In the floor plan above, this is issue ‘3’ in the Kitchen.

The issue is then throroughly described. Here there is missing plaster that was removed due to a water leak from a faulty water heater. There is clear evidence that the false ceiling was opened by technicians and they rectified the water leak, but they have not finished their work.
